Foot Locker — The Cultural Experience
Omek and Foot Locker partnered for a five-month educational series highlighting important topics across Black cultures for the company’s global staff. The series showcased thought leaders, journalists, and designers convening from four continents.

The challenge
Addressing two key objectives, we aimed to empower allies with global perspectives for more informed decision-making within the organization. Additionally, we worked to create an inclusive space where diverse employees could thrive authentically.
Our approach
The five-month journey was designed to celebrate global Black history, culture, contributions, and futures. Each session offered engaging and educational content, including gamified workshops, music, poetry, lectures, discussions, and food.

What we did
Each session featured thought leaders sharing stories and facilitating audience interaction, offering valuable tips, vocabulary, and professional insights.
Our team managed program development, communication rollout, speaker preparation, visuals and presentations which aligned with their global guidelines, and video content.

Key results
These sessions actively engaged over 2,000 employees during the live broadcasts. Following each session, a recap with key takeaways was crafted and shared with the company-wide audience, including in-store employees, totaling 80K+.
